Week 1: Heart for the House

Our Vision And Heart

"I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the Church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose."
1 Corinthians 1:10 NLT

We believe that God has incredible, powerful and joyful plans for your life!

We are a local church family in the heart of Concord, CA who are completely dependent upon the authenticity of our God. We believe that it is through this dependency that God enables us to live the meaningful lives we have been created to enjoy. God meets us where we are, in the midst of all of life's difficulties and patiently draws us to Himself, where we experience His complete acceptance, unconditional love and the healing and restoration, we as humans so desperately need.

We seek to be as diverse as our local community and believe God calls us into relationship across generational boundaries. We love our community and seek to equip the next generation of leaders to serve locally as well as around the world. We love God by serving people and serve God by loving people.

Our Vision Statement:

God has called Harvest Church to be a community of believers who passionately pursue and expectantly anticipate a move of God. We do this while providing a place for people to encounter God, walk with Him in relationship with one another and be equipped to proclaim the Gospel locally and around the world.

The Great Commission:

"Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations..."
Matt. 28:19 NLT

"And then He told them, "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned" . . . And the disciples went everywhere and preached, and the Lord worked through them, confirming what they said by many miraculous signs."
Mark 16:15-17; 20 NLT

Unity:

"There is one body and one spirit . . .there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of us all . . ."
Ephesians 4:4-6 ERV
