"The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from
God and is useful to teach us what is true and
to make us realize what is wrong in our lives; it
straightens us out and helps us do what is right.
It is God's way of making us well prepared at every
point, fully equipped to do good to everyone."
2 Timothy 3:16-17 LB
HOW DO I GET MORE FROM MY BIBLE STUDY?
Accept its authority.
We believe that the Bible, and only the Bible, is
the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the final
authority in determining all doctrinal truths. In its
original writing, it is inspired, infallible and inerrant.
Receive God's Word with an open heart.
"and we also thank God continuously because when
you received the word of God, which you heard from
us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but as
it actually is, the word of God... "

PRAYER - TALKING WITH GOD
"Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about
everything."
Philippians 4:6 NLT.
Jesus exemplified a personal relationship with God
through prayer that gave Him great strength. Every
person who has ever been effective in service for God
has developed this habit. The only way to be a healthy
Christian is to spend time with God daily through
prayer.
In my daily prayer time, I am
Giving devotion to God
"Hezekiah was successful, because everything he did...he did in a spirit of complete loyalty and devotion
to his God."

Getting direction from God
"Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road
for me to follow. Lead me..."
Psalm 25:4-5 NLT
Growing in my relationship with God.
"You must depend on Christ only, drawing life and
strength from Him. Just as you were taught the
truth, continue to grow stronger in understanding of
it and never stop giving thanks to God."

Use the model Jesus gave us.
"One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When
He finished, one of his disciples said to Him, 'Lord,
teach us to pray.'"

Jesus said: "In this manner, therefore, pray:
"Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your Name, Your

evil one, for Yours is the kingdom and the power and
the glory forever."
