AREAS OF GIVING

  • Give of our time
  • "Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil."

  • Give of our Treasure
  • "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven. . . "

    BENEFITS OF GIVING

  • Giving draws us to God.

  • Giving is the remedy to materialism.
  • "Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to be generous and willing to share. In this way they may take hold of the life that is truly life."

  • Giving strengthens our faith.

  • Giving is an investment in eternity
